Simply Knitting essential guide

In the early days, when Simply Knitting had just cast on, we featured a 16-page essential guide for needle virgins and those knitters who were a little bit rusty.

Although we'd still love to feature the whole guide in the pages of the magazine, we wanted to make room for lots more fabulous patterns, so it was cut down to just nine pages.
